Hosted Predictive Dialers: A predictive dialer is different then a preview dialer and an auto dialer. A predictive dialer is an automated dialer that dials the numbers for the agents and sends the prospect straight to the agent. The agent does not have to dial the number nor do they have to listen to ringing as well as listening to pesky answering machines or disconnected numbers. A predictive dialer is just that, it predicts when an agent is ready and available. A predictive dialer tries to predict when to dial at the same time taking specific factors into consideration. With a predictive dialer, the question may be asked what is it that you need it to do for your call center. If you want to talk to more people per hour then a predictive dialer is right for you. Also take into consideration with a predictive dialer that more features does not always mean the best dialer either. More features equals more maitenance and more time to effectively operate your dialer as well.
